okay back home ages ago! definitely feels good to be back home! =) lack of blogging due to laziness and high frequencies of going out and now school =(
the 1 month break i had after i came back is definitely too short for me to relax enough before school starts and adjust back my mentality.l though it is always said that exchange is suppose to be relaxing but i beg to differ so when you have to really start thinking and doing everything for yourself. from the basic necessity of meals and taking care of yourself to handling school work and many things and to add on homesickness it does cause tiredness at some point of time. nevertheless its good to be back! no more taking things for granted =)
the KL trip with family was great! massive feeding of me (yes by my parents who claimed that i looked like a coolie on the day i came back) and spending precious time and my special day with my family was definitely enjoyable and unforgettable especially if you havent been with them for half a year. =) covered the basic parts of KL i guess =) lost the urge to take pictures after i came back haha. i love my family =)
and the other meeting ups with guitar peeps and sharks and dtf and 07 was fun and entertaining and i finally get to exercise more! loved my tan now. sadly school started and i am back to sci lib as my second home. i might as well set up a personal office in there. except that my laptop fan is noisy and i have to resort to sitting at the corners away from the people to avoid disturbing anyone. need to repair my poor laptop soon.
fyp started and i am buried in my readings on rhenium. lab will only start 1mth+ later for me i guess looking at the way my prof works by asking us to come out with proposals and do more readings instead of just heading into the lab. only handling 3 mods this sem but its heavy enough i guess when fyp takes up so much time. and i took up to be a lab TA for this sem to earn back some cash for SEP since i doubt i will be going back to b&b to work somemore though boss highly hope i go back. fyp is stressful but i hope i can handle that =)
plus my parents finally sold my bb house hints at massive packing is undergoing. been spending every weekend packing and its boring and tiring. the occasional interesting things was entertaining such as finding my parents' old photos and their wedding invitation card (26 years ago!) haha. but at least i get to eat my mum's homecooked food =)
bro's going overseas at the end of this month for 4 mths! and looking at it i can't go US / tokyo at the end of the year to meet up with him thanks to fyp. hope he dun get too stressed up there with his school work! he's stressed enough nowadays with his work with endless projects and assignments so hopefully he'll survive well there! =)
okay enough of blogging. back to my readings =(
