reliefs...
reliefs' dinner at carls jr. =D
right had a short meet up with the napfa reliefs last night! didn't manage to go for the 12km kayaking expedition in the end but can see that they are extremely tired out with the lack of sleep where they are trying to catch a wink of sleep whenever and wherever they are. had a pretty fun meet up where we can talk about anything intellectual or just really crap during the one-hour queue up at the suntec taxi stand. wanted to go down to the waffle shop with the 2 guys but the long wait made us give up the idea and just decided to go home especially for cindy and xueli who is going for the science camp starting today which i didn't attend. =P gave up my driving slot for nothing, gah. missing huimin and marco in the picture. we must try and have a full attendance one day!
and i finally had my new phone after 2 years! woo hoo! its the one i have been preying for almost a year. N70! woo hoo! its my early birthday present from my mummy. think i shall treasure it like mad and not like it suffer like my old 6610i where that time i was in an extremely bad mood i just smashed the phone on the floor ohps. luckily nokia phones are rugged. missing my 6610i which is still lying on my table containing my old cute messages which now none of my new phone holds but nevertheless i shall make great use of my new phone. =D my mp3 player, camera, organiser and internet explorer muahaha. loved the blue light of my keypad! woo! i shall take good care of it and find a nice pouch. sandra find with me k? hahah. =P
and yup driving just covered right turns U-turns and roundabout. having pretty nice instructors actually. 1 who looks like those young and very siwen type, 1 who forever works on my basics on not heavy stepping on my accelerator, 1 who looks like mushroom man ( given his hair haha) but only had him once and he's the one who is very adventurous and let me try out crank and S course during my second lesson and also my favourite instructor who looks like one of the character in da chang jin and he always like to crap but at the same time teach pretty well heh. let me drive from gombak to jurong west to bukit timah to teckwhye to hillview before heading back omg. over 40km in a 100min session. heh pretty nice instructors that i am having. =)
about singaporeans not being courteous enough, at least well i have been meeting enough kind people who does hold the door for others and give up seats. been influenced by my dad who always does the extra for other people. natching seats on the train is a norm though. i normally see those working people who just come onto the train just run for the seats without really taking a look to whether there are other people around who really needs the seats. oh well think the campaign needs to be further emphasised then when we are ranked 30th out of 35th among other countries though i had seen worst cases in the countries that i have visited so far.
back to resting life and driving lessons before my next job starts on the 2nd week of july. final theory test on the 10th july though. lets hope i can clear it once and for all and throw away my blue book which doesn't really help much compared to the practices that i had. meanwhile people who wants to learn blading or go overseas or attend sports/odac camps or just going out please tell me! =)
