muahaha. this was what i did with my bro after he claimed that my piyo piyo committed suicide and got no place to hang when the hook fell off and he left it in front of the web cam. tada~ we had some fun positioning our lame toys heh. we took in total about 5 to 6 shots each hahah. ohps.
been stoning and slacking here since the workload is not very heavy. its just that i am tired and lazy to do my horrible and boring readings on social policies and egypt. so glad social policy is ending but here comes another boring mod: swedish econs development! and its 4 times a week! so i am having 5 day work week but 2 hours each! sigh. i rather have 3 days of full days just like last sem. been catching a lot of shows online via a very good blog to watch taiwan shows and some singapore dramas. new season of amazing race, hell's kitchen and survivor had all started and this means that i got stuff to watch woohoo!
had been to copenhagen as said from my previous post. and i still prefer lund! seemed like there's slight discrimination against chinese there as some weird guys will make comments to us and stuff. but overall the city is a pretty nice place which is much busier than lund and that means everything is pretty expensive. for the photos please just link to my blog =)
still having my 6 day break which i regretfully didn't plan anything due to lack of kakis. been alone 99% of the time other than stepping out of my room to throw or cook stuff. can't really mingle well with my corridor mates except with the malaysian gal. its just a different culture i guess and i don't really have much topics to talk with them either. everyone of us from different countries! iran, ireland, US, UK, australian, latvia, spain, france, netherlands, singapore, malaysia! most of them stayed for 1 sem and its kind of hard to break into their circle i guess. well at least they ask me to go along with them to drink and stuff and that's not too bad i guess =) think will be goin copenhagen with them on wed again to watch some jazz concert and drinking again sigh. drinking is the only few things that people do in their free time other than studying and travelling. = luckily for me i didn't get drunk before. the only time i nearly did was went i mixed my drink. took whisky and purge after half a bottle of red wine! and i managed to bathe and go back and sleep! how cool is that. still trying not to drink too much here though but seems like i need to drink in order to socialise better. =
trying to mix well with the other singaporeans as well. there's total about 22 of us here i guess. the group that i came with mostly keep to themselves and hence i am left alone i guess. trying to mingle well with the others but seemed like i missed out on a lot of stuff. luckily for me one of the smu guys live next corridor to me so the smu gang will come and have dinner and i can join in! hoping to mix better when i go malmo and watch ice hockey match and club with the singaporeans on friday i guess. again they have very different personalities from me so i am hoping for the best.
enough of whining! will be heading to kiruna to see aurora borealis at the end of this month! kinda reminds me of what i learnt in climate and weather and the ionosphere etc BUT i hope i can see it! spending 2 nites there and 2 nites on the train! costing a bomb but i don't care la. how often you can go see such things! around 23 hours on the train though. = excited!
been snowing on and off these few days! its supposed to turn warmer as we approach spring but it seems like spring is coming later this year around in europe. starting we get excited about snow but after a few times its becoming a norm. no wonder the europeans are wondering why we are excited about snowing! haha. its a pretty nice scene actually just that the weather is super duper cold!
haha hoping to plan more trips in march during weekends (thinking of london in march!) and hopefully finding da eventually since my organometallics is starting in end march and that's a master level course = not too sure now whether my family is visiting me in june to go back to me as they are finally selling off my bukit batok flat after 10 years and hence i need to make backup plans soon! and to end off... a pretty snowy picture =)
